بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
“Indeed, Allah does not do injustice, [even] as much as an atom’s weight; while if there is a good deed, He multiplies it and gives from Himself a great reward.” (Surat An-Nisaa, 4:40)
Our personal relationships can be characterized by misunderstanding. I might have done something good for you, but you did not notice; that might make me resentful. You may expect me to reward you for the good that you did to me; I might think a thank you is enough.
With Allah, there is no such thing. He reassures us: Allah does not commit an atom’s weight of injustice. Everything you do is counted. And you know what else?
He is so Generous that whatever good you do, He multiplies it. And the bad that you do? It is as it is – not multiplied or anything. He may choose to forgive it as well.
So that bad that you do has the potential to be erased, and the good that you do has the potential to be multiplied.
So never think that what you do will go to waste. Your relationship with God is not like your relationship with people. Your Lord is infinitely more Merciful, Appreciative and Generous.
Desire justice, mercy and reward from Him: You will never be disappointed.
